FALL 2017 . . . a Time for Routines, Consistency and Keeping Healthy!
Well Summer is coming to an end and the Amazing Fall season is coming upon us quickly. Gardening this year started off slow but so worth the wholesome foods we grow, I LOVE fresh garden vegetables, canning my own spaghetti sauce, tomatoes, salsa and pickles. My salsa is the best, just ask my family! See the recipe I use below, try it and ENJOY!
Life is getting very busy with many preparing to get their children back to school, spending many hours shopping, planning and organizing the daily activities that come with back to school. I'm not going back to school but busy with family, canning, working full time within the Interlake Eastern Regional Health Authority and working on growing my businesses; Joel Marie Calm Experience and as an Ambassador with Plexus Worldwide, making Healthier Lifestyle Choices and Changes.
I have been busy Blogging, Facebook; messaging, and Emailing to share and network the amazing health and relaxation benefits I can offer anyone through what I do. The energy I now have excites me and motivates me to push through and GET IT DONE, something I have not been able to do in years. I have also been sleeping like a baby without a sleep aid and getting up earlier. I can now last the day without that crashing feeling, no more needing a nap before I make supper, and I still have the energy to go for an evening walk with my guy Bob and our dog Bosco.
I am LOVING feeling good!

My Salsa Recipe I mentioned:
12 C peeled and chopped tomatoes
3 C chopped celery
2 C chopped onion
1 chopped green pepper
3 chopped jalapeno peppers
1/4 C pickling salt
Mix and put in fridge overnight. The next day drain juice and cook on stove for 30-45 minutes (simmer).
2 Tbsp. mustard seed
1/3 C sugar (you can add more for a sweeter salsa)
1 C vinegar
2 (5.5 oz) cans of tomato paste
1/4 Tsp. cayenne pepper
Simmer on the stove for 20-30 minutes. Put salsa in sterilized jars. Makes approximately 5 pints.
Make it a GREAT end of Summer. Amazing Fall and Back to School routine.
