November is for Remembrance . . .

October 30, 2017

In Flanders fields the poppies blow

Between the crosses, row on row,

That mark our place; and in the sky

The larks, still bravely singing, fly

Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago

We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,

Loved and were loved, and now we lie

In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:

To you from failing hands we throw

The torch; be yours to hold it high,

If ye break faith with us who die

We shall not sleep, though poppies grow

In Flanders fields.

Services to honor those that fought for our freedom are held all over, see if you can find one and attend in your area this year. I will be attending the service in Stony Mountain, Saturday, November 11, 2017.

Recently I have been thinking how much I have taken our freedom for granted and how lucky I am, living here in Manitoba, as we are fortunate to not have to deal with many of the natural disasters and tragedies that have been plaguing many other parts of our world.

I also have been thinking much about how NOBODY is immune to the cruelty that strikes many parts of our world, yet we CAN NOT live our lives in fear. Fear causes much stress and anxiety and that is not healthy for anyone, not ourselves, our family or friends.

We NEED to take care of ourselves so we can have the strength and energy to care for others.

Health and Wellness is caring for ourselves from head to toe, inside and outside our bodies. I do my best everyday to try and maintain a healthy lifestyle for myself and my family by eating healthy, taking my supplements, reducing the chemicals used around me, getting proper rest, some exercise, keeping stress down and going for my monthly massages.

What do you do to take care of yourself?

If you have not already experienced a Joel Marie Calm Experience I encourage you to do so. Book your session on line, call, text or Facebook message me through my Joel Marie Facebook account.
